One of the Swiss Confederation’s aims under Article 2 of the Constitution is to promote sustainable development. As an environmental and infrastructure department, DETEC is particularly committed to this mission. “Sustainable development” is the guiding principle of its activities and coordination of national activities is its responsibility.
Sustainable develpment
The Confederation promotes sustainable development within its own field of activities and supports cantons, municipalities and other players in their endeavour to develop sustainably.
