Federal Council wishes to reduce the geopolitical risks associated with digital infrastructure
Bern, 15.12.2023 - The Federal Council intends to strengthen the security of Switzerland's telecommunications and digital infrastructures. At its meeting on 15 December 2023, it adopted a report in response to a postulate (20.3984) calling for a reduction in the geopolitical risks associated with the development of infrastructures such as 5G. DETEC is tasked with presenting a draft revision of the Telecommunications Act.
