Virtual 75th session of the UN General Assembly
The President of the Swiss Confederation, Simonetta Sommaruga, and Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis represented Switzerland at the UN General Assembly. One of the main topics was the global management of the impact of COVID-19. President Sommaruga delivered the opening address for Switzerland and spoke at other events on biodiversity, digital cooperation and women’s rights.
