Targeted advertising on television with restrictions

Biel/Bienne, 30.10.2017 - The SRG SSR and licensed commercial broadcasters should be given the opportunity of broadcasting targeted advertising in their licensed programme services. This proposal forms part of the draft revision of the Radio and Television Ordinance (RTVO), which the Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) will put out for consultation from 30 October 2017. According to the current legal situation, the SRG SSR is not able to offer different advertising blocks for targeted advertising.
